I work with students applying for entry to private, independent, and Catholic High Schools in the Washington Metropolitan area ( as either freshmen or transfer candidates).

I can support your child and family in the following ways:

• Advice on schools that will be a good fit for your child

• Application strategies and logistics, including recommendations for test prep, tutoring, and curriculum planning

• SSAT and HSPT test planning and timing

• Advice on how to present student profiles in the best light

• Admissions interview preparation and feedback for candidates

• Advice on application essays for candidates and parents (including brainstorming, coaching, supervision, light editing)

• Review of completed applications 

• Support in making the choice between school acceptances

• Guidance with navigating waitlists, revisits, contracts, financial aid, tuition arrangements, and eventual enrollment and matriculation
